Customer Service Representative (Boise, ID)

SYSCO Food Services of Idaho is seeking a Customer Service Representative with exceptionally good telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills. This position is expected to assist in all sales and customer accounts. Responsibilities include taking and processing product orders as needed by customers and as directed by sales personnel, as well as communicating courteously with customers and sales personnel regarding orders or problems with accounts. Other duties include arranging for product to be delivered and checking special customer orders daily for order entry and accuracy. Our customer service representatives are expected to keep up-to-date on products, pricing, promotions, and procedures. Standard work schedule is Tuesday through Saturday. Monday through Friday hours will be 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. On Saturdays, this position will work in the Will-Call office coordinating selection and product pick-up as requested by sales, working from 5:30 am to 2:00 pm. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and one year of sales or customer service experience, preferably in the food industry. Candidate must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and have the ability to calculate figures, amounts, and apply basic mathematical concepts. Candidates must also have the ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Candidates must complete a SYSCO Idaho application form and screening test. The SYSCO application is available on our website, or atour office between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. The screening test is available at our office between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:00 pm. The completed appliation and screening test must be turned in by Friday, August 8th.
